About me

Therapy invites us to reflect, heal and grow.

I believe that when we feel truly seen and heard, change is possible and can be deeply rewarding.

I provide a safe, warm and collaborative space where personal challenges can be explored and worked through. I am passionate about helping people build more fulfilling, meaningful and satisfying lives through personal insight and change.

A trusting and authentic relationship is integral to therapeutic progress. I place great emphasis on listening and connecting.

Approach

Everyone's therapeutic experience is unique.

Depending on your needs and goals, therapy might involve:

  • Exploring the root causes and nature of psychological and emotional challenges

  • Strengthening the capacity for flexible and expansive thinking, acceptance and change

  • Fostering a deeper self-knowledge

  • Building an understanding of personal values, desires and life direction

  • Creating a healthier balance between autonomy and connection with others

  • Developing strategies to overcome or manage psychological and emotional challenges

I use techniques drawn from various evidence-based therapies, depending on a person's unique needs.

Therapies include:

  • Compassion Focused Therapy (CFT)

  • Schema Therapy

  • Dialectical and Behaviour therapy (DBT)

  • Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT)

  • Mindfulness

  • Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT)

My thinking is informed by psychodynamic, attachment-based and relational theories.
