About me

Therapy invites us to reflect, heal and grow.

I believe that when we feel truly seen and heard, change is possible and can be deeply rewarding.

I provide a safe, warm and collaborative space where personal challenges can be explored and worked through. I am passionate about helping people build more fulfilling, meaningful and satisfying lives through personal insight and change.

A trusting and authentic relationship is integral to therapeutic progress. I place great emphasis on listening and connecting.

Approach

Everyone's therapeutic experience is unique.

Depending on your needs and goals, therapy might involve:

  • Fostering a deeper self-knowledge by exploring the root causes and nature of psychological and emotional challenges.

  • Strengthening capacities in areas such as emotional awareness and expression; communication; flexible/expansive thinking; balancing acceptance and change; balancing autonomy and connection; fostering belonging.

  • Reprocessing traumatic experiences in order to move beyond emotional triggers and blockages.

  • Building an understanding of personal values, desires and life direction.

  • Developing strategies to regulate the nervous system.

My overarching approach is informed by psychodynamic, attachment-based, relational and trauma-informed theory.

Depending on individual needs I also apply my training in therapies including Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR) therapy, Schema Therapy, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and Mindfulness.
